Do It Anyway
Courage isn't formed in the face of adversity, but through the grit of consistency.
Before Daniel landed in the lions' den, he faced the everyday pressure of choosing between his personal safety and his relationship with God. But through this extraordinary pressure, Daniel showed extraordinary potential.
Daniel trusted God, no matter what. He believed God would protect him, so he obeyed.
When God closed the mouths of the lions that were meant to maim and destroy Daniel, He made a way for the entire kingdom to praise Him.
The same power lives within us.
So, when the pressure mounts, what will we decide?
When the world comes against us, who will we trust?
No matter what happens, will we obey God anyway?
Pray:
God, Thank You for being a mighty defender. You saved Daniel from the lions' den and You save me from the enemy. Give me the courage to obey You always, even when the pressure mounts. I trust that You will come through. In Jesus' name, Amen.
