Jesus came joyously into this world, he laid down his life, taking on the sin of the world, and He arose victorious three days later, conquering death once and for all. The story of Jesus is a story of love. The holidays are a time when families and friends come together in celebration. We leave behind offences and choose to honor each other in love. But don’t let Christmas be the only time we do it! Jesus commands us to love each other and not just with words, but in action. To lay down our life for another means to love unconditionally. Each day, ask the Lord to show you how to best love your family and friends. Ask Him to teach you how to be a more loving person; to love like He loves you.
