Turn It Around

Dag 3 av 5

Be Seamlessly You Being seamlessly you is the key for each one of us to individually and uniquely fulfill our purpose. He needs our uniqueness to appeal to the variety of personalities in the world. Creative, eccentric and flighty does not get the attention of the structured, left-brained analytic. The person who is preachy, loudly vocal and who displays excessively won’t attract the quietly contemplative and inhibited individual. My point is that God created every individual, group, tribe and tongue to relate to Him and to bring Him much joy, as His Kingdom is expressed as wonderfully colorful, significant and distinctive. It is time for God’s people to be seen in the world. The dictionary describes the word calling as “a strong inner impulse toward a particular course of action especially when accompanied by conviction of divine influence.” Your calling should be conducted seamlessly. Seamless living is the opposite of happily attending church on Sundays and going to work feeling miserable on Mondays, bemoaning the fact that you have to keep a job. Seamless living is about living with God Monday through Sunday. Daily life in relationship with God is not a religion; it is a revolution that continues to deepen this relationship. Seamless living is shining your light, sharing your relationship with the Lord and spreading your joy and purpose wherever you go: anytime, anywhere, always and at every opportunity. The good news is that you can turn it around and make the divine exchange. What are the tatty old garments of your life that you need to exchange? 1\. Could these be the clothes of doubt and unbelief? 2\. Could they be destructive habits and soul-destroying life patterns? 3\. What about perfectionism and/or procrastination? 4\. Or gossip and snooping around in other people’s lives? 5\. Perhaps constantly dreading what may happen next? 6\. Or comparing yourself to others and talking yourself down?
