Walking With Jesus Voorbeeld

We are on day 3 of prayer in the garden. I can't begin to imagine what Jesus is going through but verse 39 gives us a glimpse into Jesus’ obedience to His Father.
“Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Jesus knew what was coming, asked for the cup to be taken from Him, and yet still had the divine surrender to say, “Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Wow. How's your obedience? Have you ever prayed like Jesus did in complete surrender? I think we can learn so much from this single verse. “Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
What if we prayed "God would you ___________, yet not as I will, but as you will." I'm sure we could all fill in the blank with different things we have prayed to God. A true sign of spiritual growth is when we can trust God's plan like Jesus did.
What a privilege to submit to God's plan even if we have to suffer.
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 26:39
Pray. Today submit your will to the father, all of your dreams at his feet. Ask God how you can honor him in everyday life.
Daily Challenge: Write down one of your biggest dreams and submit that to the hand of God.
