SE Students - No Matter What - Part 1Voorbeeld

Pretend you are on a golf course and someone has just hit a ball that looks like it is going straight for your head. You will hopefully hear them scream “FORE” at the top of their lungs. Yelling “FORE” alerts the people around to watch out for something about to come their way. In your case, you probably just dove onto the green to prevent the golf ball from knocking you out.
In John chapter 16, Jesus essentially shouted “FORE” to His disciples. He gave them a heads up that trouble would be coming their way. When we become a Christian, our lives do not all of a sudden become easy and free of suffering. In fact, the opposite is often the case.
If you knew hard times were coming your way, what would you do now to prepare? You cannot avoid difficulties in life, but you can prepare. How does your relationship with Jesus need to grow so that you are ready? What spiritual habits do you need so that you walk with Jesus even more closely when trouble comes?
