Get Your Mind Right Pt. 3Voorbeeld

The evidence of an “UN-RENEWED” mind is selfish Christianity. We tend to avoid thinking about the hard and the painful things, because we don’t like the way they make us feel. When our minds are not constantly renewed, our thoughts drift back to our own needs, instead of thinking about others’ hardships. We have a tendency to want things to “go back to normal” or we brush right over the uncomfortable things that are happening all around us. As the Church, we are called to do something about the pain and the injustice in society right now.
Questions:
1. What would happen today if you chose not to look away or avoid someone else’s hard reality?
2. What if you approached that situation or addressed that theme in the way Jesus did, by bringing peace and hope to humanity?
3. What is one specific situation this week where you can shed the reality of Jesus?
