Don't Stop! Get Ready!

In the original, Matthew 22:14 says something like "many are called but few PARTICIPATE...few ARE WILLING...few people RESPOND with faith. Do you know what this makes me think? That what defines whether one is chosen or not is one's own willingness to be used. If you respond to God's proposal for your life, yes, you are chosen. Now if you do nothing about it, you yourself remove yourself from that position or ministry. It's not about Him not keeping His promises or taking too long to fulfill them, it's that we "forget" that we need to do our part too. God won't make us take off in our spiritual life by some miracle (not that in some cases that doesn't happen). So, when we think about being discouraged because God "doesn't keep his promises" it shows that we are being selfish; that we are only thinking about ourselves and not about the Kingdom.

God knows everything that will happen. He knows what's going on in your heart. He knows how much you have been searching and crying. God knows EVERYTHING about you and still calls you.

But what about you? Are you willing?
