Why You Should Earn All You CanSampel

Earning all you can looks different for each of us in different phases of life.

I know several pastors, stay-at-home moms, and even people in corporate America purposefully not earning as much as they could. They intentionally chose a lower-paying path because they were following God’s direction for their lives.

But in the context of what God has called us to, we should ask ourselves, How can we steward our time and talents well? How can we “work heartily, as for the Lord” with everything we put our hands to?

For someone in corporate America, it might mean climbing the corporate ladder. For a business owner, it might mean better serving clients, which leads to business growth. For a stay-at-home mom, it might mean something as simple as selling the kids’ old toys on eBay during nap time.

The point is that some of us are called to more overt and traditional forms of ministry and some of us are called to more covert forms of ministry. But it is all ministry.

We all have the opportunity to be used by God each day. We are all parts of the same body working together for the same cause. How will you steward your time, talents, and money to help expand His Kingdom?
