Forever Love

When Love is real, it pursues. It extends itself beyond any border or bondage to seek out the one it adores. It won’t let go. It can’t let go. It has made its decision to consciously commit to the possibility of what could be...until it one day IS. It holds to a hope that never dies. 

God’s love for us is the world’s greatest mystery. Is LOVE who He is or what gives? Does He “feel” it like I do or is it more of a decision or determination based upon what He knows beyond what He feels? What does it mean when John 3:16 says that He “so” loved me? How do you quantify “so” and do I have the capacity to love “so”-ly or just “soulishly?” The problem with the question is that it can only be answered with more questions and every day we are given examples of how much He loves us. In Himself. Out of Himself. For His Own Pleasure. Because of His Own Identity. He cannot deny Himself. He is comfortable with His love for us. He sees us in His love and cares for us for His name’s sake even when our human incapabilities and our own resistance causes us not to display love to Him as we should. We should all echo the words of David; “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me…” He’s loved us with an everlasting love.
