Spend some time today resting in God's presence. Find a silent place and spend an extended period of time in stillness before God. It can be helpful to choose a sacred word or verse to focus on. At first you may find it difficult to be still and silent. Other thoughts will creep into your mind. Don't get anxious or upset at the thoughts that come; simply go back to your sacred word and rest in God's presence. Setting our minds on God alone for an extended period of time will help you to become more fully present with God and others throughout your day.
