Generosity is timeless and brings lasting joy. When you are the recipient of someone’s choice to be generous it shapes the way you see the world around us in a positive way. The positive impact good deeds bring glorifies God and shows off his character to the world around us. 

If we are honest though, we find ourselves thinking about ways we can be generous much more than we find ourselves actually being generous. Imagine with me the shift in our communities if every time we experienced a divine nudge to be generous, we acted on it. Small, unexpected acts of kindness can go a long way. 

You can never go wrong by being a blessing to someone. Who can do something tangible for today? Here’s some ideas: write a handwritten note of encouragement, buy a friend something thoughtful that will make them smile, go out to eat with a friend and pay for the meal.
