Preparing for Dedication

Child dedication is more than a moment; it’s a declaration of intent. Dedication is not a ritual - it’s a response of the heart. It’s a decision to build a home where Jesus is known, where faith is lived out daily, and where your child’s heart is shaped by the presence of God.

As you prepare, reflect on how you will live out this calling in your everyday life. How will you provide a home filled with faith, love, and peace - a place where the presence of Jesus is experienced through your words, rhythms, and grace?

How will you raise your child in God’s Word and the teachings of Jesus, letting Scripture and prayer guide your family conversations and decisions? How will you model the Christian life through your own relationship with Jesus, allowing your faith, humility, and dependence on God to be visible to your child?

And how will you demonstrate the importance of church, staying actively connected to the Body of Christ so that your family grows within community and shared mission?

These are not small questions, but they are holy ones - an invitation to align your heart and home with God’s purposes.
