Children Are a Gift from God

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” - Psalm 127:3

As you prepare to dedicate your child, remember this: your child is a gift from God - created in His image, carrying His breath, and entrusted to your care for a divine purpose.

Ezekiel 18:4 reminds us that “everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child - both alike belong to me.” Before your child makes their own decision to follow Jesus, God invites you to model a life that reflects His ways - to raise them in His presence, teach them His truth, and form them in His likeness.

Your child is not just growing physically, but spiritually. They are designed to know God, to be shaped by Him, and to live for His purposes in the world. As parents, you carry the sacred responsibility to nurture this journey - to create a home where the presence of Jesus is encountered, where hearts are shaped into the image of God, and where your family lives on mission, carrying His love into your world.

As you continue through this plan, take time to pause, reflect, pray, and dream about the foundation you are preparing for your child - a life built in the Presence of God, formed by His Spirit, and sent with His Mission.
