God’s Help and the Church’s Role

Parenting was never meant to be a solo journey. From the very beginning, God designed His people to grow together in community - the Body of Christ. As a parent, you are the primary discipler of your child, shaping their understanding of God through your words, example, and daily faith. But you are not called to do it alone.

God has placed you within His Church, a family of believers who walk beside you in prayer, wisdom, and encouragement. The local church is where your faith is strengthened and your child’s spiritual foundation is supported - through worship, teaching, and community. Kids ministry, youth, small groups, and Sunday services will always play a vital role, but they should support your discipleship at home.

As you parent, lean on God daily for strength and depend on the people He’s placed around you. Let your home be a place that mirrors the life of the Church - filled with the presence of Jesus, the formation of His Spirit, and the mission of His Kingdom. You are not alone in this calling. God’s Spirit and His people walk with you every step of the way.
