God, Not the Glass -- Reset Your Mind and Spiritಮಾದರಿ

So often, when we mindlessly scroll, watch a movie, or even socialize with friends, the world feeds us messages about alcohol: This is how adults relax. It’s how you connect. You’re boring without it. These messages are polished and persistent—and most of them are lies.
The enemy uses subtle half-truths to keep us stuck. But God gives us the power to fight back—not with shame, but with truth. Taking thoughts captive isn’t just a mental exercise—it’s an act of spiritual warfare. And Jesus says the truth won’t just encourage you—it will set you free.
When you start replacing lies with God’s truth—I’m already whole. I don’t need to escape. I am fully loved —freedom begins. The more you recognize the lie, the faster you can flip the script.
Prayer:
God, open my eyes to the lies I’ve been believing—about alcohol, myself, and You. Help me filter every thought through Your Word and reject anything that doesn’t align with truth.
Journal Prompt:
What’s one lie you’ve believed about alcohol or your worth? Write a truth that speaks directly to it.
