God, Not the Glass -- Reset Your Mind and Spiritಮಾದರಿ

Sis, before anything changes on the outside, something has to shift on the inside. And that shift begins with awareness. A moment. A question. A pause. That whisper in your heart that says, “This isn’t working anymore.”
For so long, I lived on autopilot—doing what everyone else did, pouring a glass out of habit, calling it “normal.” But deep down, I knew I was settling. I wasn’t broken—I was just asleep. Spiritually, emotionally, and mentally dozing off to my own life.
Maybe you feel that too. You’re not hitting rock bottom, but you’re not exactly rising either. And this is where grace shows up—not with condemnation, but with a wake-up call of love.
The world’s patterns lull us into thinking numbing is normal. But Romans 13 tells us to WAKE UP. Not to hustle harder—but to become aware, to be fully alive. And Ephesians 5 promises that when we rise, Christ’s light will shine on us. That light exposes what’s draining us—and empowers us to choose differently.
You don’t need to have it all figured out today. You just need to wake up. Notice. Breathe. Say yes to awareness.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for waking me up—not with shame, but with Your love. Help me notice where I’ve been numbing and where You’re calling me to rise. Shine Your light on the parts of me that need to change. I want to live fully awake. Amen.
Journal Prompt:
Where in your life have you been spiritually or emotionally “asleep”? What is beginning to stir as you awaken?
