The Miracle in the Mirror

DAY 4 OF 4

A Divine Reflection

When you can look into the mirror and smile because you see a "new thing" that God is working on (Isa. 43:19), which He created and is perfecting for His purposes, you are moving toward a better place with Him. If you can look at yourself and see Christ, you are gaining territory for the Kingdom's sake.

Jesus wants you to know that you are "Fearfully, and wonderfully made!" (Psalm 139:14). Because of that, we should rejoice! Praise! God doesn't make junk and He makes zero mistakes!

When you accept Christ as Savior and Lord over your life, you become joint heirs with The King! You are His child! You should see a resemblance when you truly belong to Him! The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Romans 8:16-17).

Friend, if you are not seeing Christ at all when you look into that mirror, and you don't see the miracle in the mirror that the Creator Himself created...Then, "Houston, we have a problem."

God wants you to see what He sees. He wants you to see all the potential that He knows is capable of happening. The only way to see what He sees is to obey His Word and emulate your Heavenly Father!

As a child emulates the actions/reactions/speech of his earthly father, even more so must he emulate that of his Heavenly Father once he has accepted that free gift of eternal life from The Master.

We are a "Royal priesthood" when we have Jesus! (1 Peter 2:9). Is that not mind-blowing when you really put thought into it?

Ask the Lord today to help you see all the good, to be thankful for all the wonderful that is of and from Him on a day-to-day basis, and grow you in His Word so that you may be more like your Father and see HIM when you look into that mirror. See the miracle that He is willing to do and create in you!
