Devotion: Jesus made an astounding promise: Mary's worship would be remembered forever. Wherever the gospel is preached—every language, every nation, every generation—her story would be told.

Two thousand years later, He was right. We're still talking about it.

But here's what's stunning: Jesus didn't promise to remember the disciples' ministry strategy, the crowd's enthusiasm, or the religious leaders' theology. He promised to remember one woman's extravagant, wasteful, all-in worship.

John wrote that when Mary broke the flask, "the house was filled with the fragrance" (John 12:3). Everyone in that house smelled it. Her worship didn't just touch Jesus—it filled the atmosphere. People who weren't even there for her encountered the fragrance of her sacrifice.

Your broken-jar worship creates a legacy beyond your lifetime. Your kids will smell it. Your grandkids will walk in it. People you'll never meet will be impacted by the worship you pour out today.

The disciples wanted their names remembered for their ministry. Mary's name is remembered for her worship. Guess which one mattered more to Jesus?

Stop building a ministry and start breaking your jar. Stop protecting your legacy and start pouring out worship. What you sacrifice for Jesus echoes in eternity.
