Bible Case Files, English Part 1ნიმუში

The Case of the Altered Health, Case Closed
On a dusty road leading to a small village, Jesus met ten men whose lives had been shattered by leprosy. Forced to live outside the city walls, they survived on scraps and charity. With no work, no community, and no hope, they saw Jesus as their only chance to return to the temple in Jerusalem—the place where priests could declare them clean and restore them to society.
From a distance, they called out, pleading for mercy. Jesus didn’t lay hands on them or speak a dramatic healing. Instead, He simply told them to go show themselves to the priests—before there was a single sign of change. It was a test of faith that must have felt like stepping off a cliff without knowing if there was ground below.
Yet they went. And somewhere along that road, as they walked toward the temple still covered in disease, it happened—their skin cleared, their bodies were restored, and the disease was gone. Nine of them kept going, eager to get to the priests. But one man, a foreigner looked down on by most, stopped. Instead of rushing ahead, he turned back, ran to Jesus, and threw himself at His feet in overwhelming gratitude.
The others had received healing, but this man received something deeper. His faith and thankfulness made him truly whole.
This moment reminds us to always say thank you—to make gratitude a habit, no matter the situation. It calls us to praise God by telling others the good things He’s done in our lives, so our story can encourage their faith. And it challenges us to obey Him even when we don’t understand the reason behind His instructions. After all, sometimes the miracle comes after the step of obedience, not before.
The Case of the Threatened Species
The project was massive, the instructions oddly specific. Every measurement, every detail had to be followed exactly, even though the reason for it all made little sense at the time. Day after day, the work continued—cutting, shaping, assembling—until the structure towered over everything around it. Nearby, animal tracks—deer, fox, rabbit—pressed into the soft earth. Then, without warning, the first signs appeared that the impossible was about to happen. Can you guess the Bible story behind The Case of the Threatened Species?
