Increase

Increase is a strong word meaning to advance, grow, build, construct. The power of today's scripture in Matthew is we are called to be imitators of Christ. If He grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man. How much more should we?

Make the decision to increase.

How do we increase in wisdom? "He who lacks wisdom should ask of God and He will give it liberally." James 1:5

How do we grow in stature? Taking care of your health and vitality. Cleaning up your habits and implementing activities that help you grow in strength and wisdom.

Favor is a by-product. By honoring God's principles and values you will see His favor in radical ways. People will be inspired when they see the fresh wisdom and people holding themselves to a higher standard. Honor God by honoring His Temple where His Holy Spirit dwells within. And when we honor God, favor surrounds us.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Thank you that your favor surrounds me like a shield, and that shield doesn't just cover me, but it forges a path in front of me that I may walk boldly into the promises you speak over my life. Give me strength today, and I ask for wisdom to increase in all areas.
