YES!!!

DAY 7 OF 7

Day 7: From Agreement to Action:

Congratulations—you’ve made it to the final day of the YES!!! devotional journey! As we close, we reflect on everything this week has led us toward: a life marked not just by belief, but by bold, obedient action. This is the heart of the Yes!!! life—becoming a true follower of Jesus who doesn’t just say “yes” with words but lives it out daily through surrender, faithfulness, and mission. We end with a final word of challenge and clarity—a reminder that following Jesus isn’t just about what we believe, but how we respond.

Because it’s one thing to agree with God. It’s another to obey Him.

Many believers live in a cycle of inspiration without transformation. We say “yes” with our mouths, but our lives say “maybe later.” We cheer for the idea of surrender while quietly reserving the right to debate, delay, or modify what God asks of us.

But Jesus never invited us into a democracy of faith. He didn’t call us to be fans. He called us to be disciples.

"You are My friends if you do whatever I command you."
—John 15:14 (NKJV)

Agreement doesn’t activate God’s will—obedience does. We don’t follow Jesus by thinking about obedience or talking about obedience. We follow Him by doing what He says.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."
—James 1:22 (NKJV)

There is a holy difference between information and transformation. You can sit under teaching, listen to podcasts, and quote sermons, and still live a life disconnected from the assignment God has given you. At some point, your “yes” must move from affirmation to action.

That’s what living the Yes!!! life is all about. It’s not about dramatic spiritual highs or one-time decisions—it’s about a lifestyle of daily, practical, sacrificial obedience to the voice of God.

And that begins with a renewed mind.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
—Romans 12:2 (NIV)

The pattern of the world says, “Do what feels right. Decide for yourself. Be your own authority.” The renewed mind says, “Your will, Lord—not mine. I’ll go where You send me. I’ll do what You say.”

But even then, transformation can be messy. Sometimes, we confuse guilt with repentance, or regret with surrender. But true repentance doesn’t just feel sorry—it reorients our lives toward obedience.

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
—2 Corinthians 7:10 (NKJV)

The sorrow of the world leads to shame and paralysis. Godly sorrow leads to freedom and movement. It doesn’t shame us for where we’ve been—it calls us forward into what we’re meant to do.

And what we’re meant to do is clear:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. . . .”
—Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV - excerpt)

Living the Yes!!! life isn’t about waiting for the perfect moment, the right feelings, or full clarity. It’s about trusting the One who sends you, even when the path isn’t fully visible. You don't have to know the entire plan—you just have to take the next obedient step.

God doesn’t need your opinion. He wants your obedience. He wants your trust. He wants your action.

So today, don’t just agree.

Live it.
Speak it.
Go do it.

That’s the Yes!!! Life.
