沈黙して主に向かい、主を待ち焦がれよ。 繁栄の道を行く者や 悪だくみをする者のことでいら立つな。 怒りを解き、憤りを捨てよ。 自分も悪事を謀ろうと、いら立ってはならない。 悪事を謀る者は断たれ 主に望みをおく人は、地を継ぐ。 しばらくすれば、主に逆らう者は消え去る。 彼のいた所を調べてみよ、彼は消え去っている。 貧しい人は地を継ぎ 豊かな平和に自らをゆだねるであろう。 主に従う人に向かって 主に逆らう者はたくらみ、牙をむくが 主は彼を笑われる。 彼に定めの日が来るのを見ておられるから。 主に逆らう者は剣を抜き、弓を引き絞り 貧しい人、乏しい人を倒そうとし まっすぐに歩む人を屠ろうとするが その剣はかえって自分の胸を貫き 弓は折れるであろう。 主に従う人が持っている物は僅かでも 主に逆らう者、権力ある者の富にまさる。 主は御自分に逆らう者の腕を折り 従う人を支えてくださる。 無垢な人の生涯を 主は知っていてくださる。 彼らはとこしえに嗣業を持つであろう。 災いがふりかかっても、うろたえることなく 飢饉が起こっても飽き足りていられる。 しかし、主に逆らい敵対する者は必ず滅びる 献げ物の小羊が焼き尽くされて煙となるように。 主に逆らう者は、借りたものも返さない。 主に従う人は憐れんで施す。 神の祝福を受けた人は地を継ぐ。 神の呪いを受けた者は断たれる。
