A Prayer of Praise and Worship in Battle In 2 Chronicles 20 the Israelites were coming under attack by a vast army. Yet God assured them not to be afraid, for the battle belonged to Him. Then Jehoshaphat appointed a worship team to go out ahead of the army saying, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His love endures forever.” As they worshipped, God set ambushes against the enemy and gave victory to the Israelites! Worship is a powerful, supernatural weapon, even in the face of a tangible, physical battle. Dear God Almighty, How majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. I ascribe to you the glory due your name; and worship you in the splendor of holiness. (Ps. 8:1; Ps. 29:2) Thank you for your never-ending love. Nothing is impossible for you! Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. (2 Chron. 20:6) I worship you as I wage war in the Spirit, against the darkness of human trafficking. Without you we have no power to face this battle, but our eyes are on you! (2 Chron. 20:12) Thank you for giving us the victory through Jesus Christ! (1 Cor. 15:57) You lead us in triumphal procession. (2 Cor. 2:14) To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 1:25)
