One of the easiest ways to be a party starter is to help someone who needs it. As the ultimate party starter, that’s the example Jesus set for us. He didn’t just see and feel empathy for the needs around Him; He took it one step further and eagerly met those needs. And that’s exactly what we can do as His followers today!

Take time to talk with your small group about what it means to follow Jesus’ lead and meet the needs around you. Brainstorm some ways you can put your empathy into action by showing up, loving, and helping those you know are in need around you.
