"Higher Levels" Jesus Christ is able to take you to new levels when you are connected to Him. Jesus has the authority to reveal secrets to believers that will increase their knowledge and respect of who He is and what He has already done for children of covenant. Jesus took Peter, James and John to a high mountain by themselves and He was transfigured before them. James, John and Peter witnessed in astonishment: Jesus’ transfiguration, Elijah and Moses appearing before them having a conversation with Jesus, a cloud overshadowing them and hearing God’s voice confirming Jesus’ identity as God’s beloved son with instructions for them to listen and obey Jesus. What a glorious, divine moment that took place right before their eyes. Jesus knew where He was taking them and what He would do before them. Similarly, when you are connected to Jesus, God knows exactly what He will do for you and what He has planned for you and things will begin to transform in your life. James, John and Peter being in association with The Son of God exposed them to higher levels in Christ. Although the experience was Holy, they had to obey Jesus when they were ordered not to tell anyone what they had seen until Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Jesus entrusted them with life changing events that they had to be quiet about until the appointed time. In life it is so tempting to disclose information that we have just experienced when God takes us to new levels in Him but we must seek wisdom and guidance regarding the appointed time to share. Also with James, Peter and John they were chosen to witness the events. When we truly understand that our relationship with Christ matters, God will expose us to new levels in Him that will forever positively transform us into what He has called us to be as we witness to the world His glorious faithfulness and power.
