Perciocchè conviene che in voi sia il medesimo sentimento, il quale ancora è stato in Cristo Gesù. Il quale, essendo in forma di Dio, non reputò rapina l'essere uguale a Dio. E pure annichilò sè stesso, presa forma di servo, fatto alla somiglianza degli uomini; e trovato nell'esteriore simile ad un uomo, abbassò sè stesso, essendosi fatto ubbidiente infino alla morte, e la morte della croce.
