Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of GodSýnishorn

“And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father…” – Genesis 26:18 (ESV)
Isaac re-dug the wells his father Abraham had dug—wells the Philistines had stopped up. But this isn’t just a story about water; it’s about legacy, perseverance, and reclaiming what the enemy tried to block. Sometimes, the spiritual life requires digging again—going back to promises, disciplines, or prayers that have been neglected or buried. Don’t settle for spiritual dryness. If there are “wells” where you have met God in the past, you can meet God there again!
Is there a “well” you need to re-dig—like prayer, worship, serving, or trusting God’s promise again? Pick up the shovel today and start digging!
Prayer:
God, help me to return to the places where You once met me. I want to dig again, to open space in my life for Your presence. Amen.
