Day 10 – A Curious Peacefire Question: Three Things to Remember
Devotional
When conflict intensifies and emotions run high, it's difficult to focus on God’s peace instead of reacting to the flames of the situation. But there are three core truths that can ground us: the Lord is always at work—even in conflict; He corrects those He loves to make us more like Christ; and He calls us to give thanks in all circumstances. God uses conflict to expose, shape, and strengthen us for His purposes. When we bring our concerns to Him with gratitude, He replaces our anxiety with His peace. The Peacefire is not about escaping the fire—it’s about standing firm in God’s presence within it.
Reflection Question:
Which of these truths—God’s presence, correction, or the call to thankfulness—do you need to embrace most in your current conflict?
Prayer:
Lord, in the midst of conflict, help me remember You are always working, even when I can’t see it. Teach me through Your correction and give me a thankful heart, so I may experience Your peace. Shape me into the image of Christ and use me for Your purpose. Amen.
