Feeding the Hungry

ỤBỌCHỊ 8 NKE 8

For Jesus, feeding the multitudes was an effortless task that demonstrated His power. More than five thousand people present that day were more than satisfied by the bountiful provision of Jesus. Yet, despite the abundance, Jesus was careful not to be wasteful in His attitude. He collected the excess and ensured that it would not be wasted. When we are provided with an abundance of resources, we tend to be wasteful and take for granted what has been given to us. When God, in His goodness, provides for us in ways beyond our expectations, let us not waste it. Let us be mindful to share what we have received with others. Have you received an uplifting word from God? Make sure to pass it on to someone else in need. Let not a drop of God’s goodness be wasted. Just as you have been blessed in your receiving, you will be blessed to a greater extent in your giving.
