30DaysOfBibleLettering - Round 3Minta
“Goodness and mercy”
What if God’s goodness and mercy would be on your life for only one day. Would it change your life? What if I told you that his goodness and mercy are available and on your life every second you breathe.
You might not recognize it or haven’t even realized that God’s plan for your life is good. But it is what it is. A pastor once said: “It is what it is, but it is not what it seems.” Your situation might be what it is but not always what it seems. I believe that my God (who apparently is also your God) has the power to change every situation.
His goodness brings good out of everything even if it doesn’t look like it. My past year was one of the hardest and most challenging ever, but I have never grown so much. God was faithful through it. It did not always seem to turn out good, but I kept trusting the Lord with all my heart. And the situation was what it was: hard, not always fun, sad, a time of mourning, and tiring.
What the world saw was a person who struggled with being happy. What God saw was his own child who came closer to his heart--a child who trusted that God would have mercy on her and by his goodness everything would turn out for good.
As this reading plan ends, I want to encourage you to trust God. Your situation might be what it is, but with God it is never what it seems to be.
