Old Testament believers called the Scriptures the TaNaKh: divided into the Torah, where God's ideal is established, Nebi'im (prophets), where God's ideal is unrealized, and Ketubim (writings), where God's ideal will be restored. The original order ends with a cliffhanger: who will go up (and establish God's Temple)?
