Peace on Earth All of humankind was presented with the greatest gift the Earth had ever been given, and yet very few recognized its value or even its presence. This gift was so great that even a multitude of the angelic armies cracked the sky to proclaim, “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men” This gift that caused the Earth to quicken since the sound of His first cry, was that of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The literal Word of God, which had been with God before the foundation of the Earth, was made flesh. He came into the world in the most vulnerable state of anyone’s life, He came as a baby. Out of the depth of this revelation, Mary was given a song, a song magnifying the wonder of our God. She states Luke 1:51-53, “…He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly …” The sole purpose of His life on Earth was to make the wrong things right by sacrificing His life for ours. Through His sacrifice, the restoration of the broken relationship between God, the Father, and humanity was mended. Through His sacrifice, you are given the opportunity to accept His peace, comfort, and joy. This Christmas join Heaven in thanksgiving that our Savior was born! Final Thought You have been given a song that has never been sung before. A song testifying of the glory of God that the Prince of Peace can reside in the hearts of humanity. A song that decrees His peace and goodwill toward all mankind.
