The Reward Comes From God. God is the Lord of the harvest. Matthew‬ ‭9:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬ states, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” God controls the harvest. The harvest is in His hands. He controls the timing of the fruit that’s produced. He controls the process. He controls the outcome. He controls the increase. He controls when and where the harvest grows. God will lead you to the harvest if you submit to Him. God will reward you, if you faint not. Choose not to faint. Keep your hands to the plow and produce what God has given you to do. Work your vineyard. Work your assignment. Work as unto the Lord. Serve Him. Let the diligent work of your hands be offered up as a sweet smelling savor to God. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Reward” is, ‘’ antapodosis ” (G469) which means, “Recompense or to pay someone.” God is the Lord of the Recompense. Not only will He pay you for what you’ve worked for, but you will be recompensed for time lost — back pay. God will reach back and give you what you should have reaped. He is the Lord of the Harvest.
