Maybe the most powerful tool we have for witnessing is this ‘earning the right to talk.’ Peter explains it briefly here – we ought to live lives that are so changed by God that, even though they may hate you, if they had to try to come up with something terrible about you, all they’re met with is your good deeds and how that points to God. Whether we like it or not, we affect God’s reputation amongst men. Represent God well.

Practical Steps: With every action today, consider how it affects God’s reputation – we are always on display to those who don’t know Jesus.
