Personal Time with God // Section 2: Worship

Worship and time with God is so powerful that it ought to affect our actions for the rest of the day. Our author here is saying that the time with God is incredibly important – but don’t forget that it needs to affect the rest of our day! In fact, through our actions we actually openly profess his name and spread His glory. There's nothing worse than a Christian who spends lots of 'time with God' then cuts everyone off in traffic, curses at their coworkers behind their back, and is a lazy employee. Our worship should empower us to live our lives different from the rest of the world.

Practical Steps: After having some time in worship, spend the day looking for opportunities throughout the day to do good and to share with others.
