We Are United In God's Glory

It says in Ephesians, "as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth." God plans to unite all things in him, in One Spirit, in One Lord for his glory. If we are not in unity, we can't glorify God. If we are not in Christ, we can't glorify God. Whatever we do ourselves with whatever motive we have, it results in division, which prohibits us from glorifying God. God is being glorified only when we are in Christ, and only by denying ourselves as part of the body of Christ and living in unity can we attract people to Christ for God’s glory.

Prayer: Father Lord, may your Holy Spirit keep our hearts soft and our eyes always turned towards you. Help us to build up each other in unity in your presence and glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
