God is passionate about His house. The Church is the Bride of Christ, and He restores her to Himself. God wants to rebuild the ruins and has promised us restoration, but we have an active part to play. When Nehemiah was rebuilding the temple, every family member had a role and a section to rebuild. Each of us has been gifted differently to build in a different area. God has given us what we need to rebuild in this season, and when we build with unity, it commands His blessing. And we know from so many examples, that when God rebuilds, it is always better than it was before. Because of Jesus, He is able to bring beauty from the ashes, to give us joy instead of mourning. He allows us to praise instead of despair. Jesus will rebuild His church, and He is inviting us to join with Him in the rebuilding process. His house is Our House, and He will bring the restoration we all desire.
