Spirit: Helper, Guide, GodEgzanp

We Can Have More of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is with us always. Once He comes to live in us, He doesn’t abandon us or leave us.
We can experience as much of the Holy Spirit’s presence as we’re willing to make room for. We can leave Him on "read" as we go about our day — watching what we want, feeding that jealous streak, giving into desires we know we’ll later regret, or we can follow His lead, learning more about who He is and who God made us to be.
We get out of relationships what we put into them. If we want a deeper relationship with our human friends, we make time for each other. We’re honest with each other. We listen to each other.
The same is true with God and us. Spend time with Him. Read the Bible and talk to Him in prayer. Let the Holy Spirit reveal anything that’s competing with Him for your attention.
Like a good friend, the Holy Spirit will always tell you the truth. And at times, the truth will be hard to hear. But if we want to experience life in the Spirit, we have to be willing to let the Spirit into our lives.
Konsènan Plan sa a

Who is the Holy Spirit? What’s His role in our lives? For some, the Holy Spirit is a dear friend. For others, He’s a bit of a mystery. For the next seven days, get to know the Holy Spirit and discover why Jesus said it was better for Him to leave, so that the Holy Spirit could come (John 16:7).
