People let us down all the time. They mistreat us, frustrate us, and hurt us. When that happens, we feel disappointed, upset, and just downright defeated. 

Unfortunately, this isn’t going to change anytime soon. The people in our lives (ourselves included!) aren’t perfect, and this world is broken. The result? No matter how hard we try, at times, we’re going to be hurt by others, and we’re going to hurt other people, too. 

In the middle of all that, what doesn’t change is the fact that God is with us. He never leaves us. He never forsakes us. He never forgets us. He never leaves us alone. That’s something we can hold onto even when others mistreat us or let us down.
