Reflect

When a superior (a boss, a commanding officer, even a parent) tells us to do something and promises us the provision we need to do it, we trust that the superior has the authority to back up his or her word. How much authority does Jesus have? Jesus says that we should go…go do what? And who will be with us as we go?

Engage

Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own word, considering the following questions.

· What does it say about God?

· What does it say about us?

· Is there a promise to trust?

· Is there a command to obey?

· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?

· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
