When you think of heaven, what comes to mind?

Our culture today depicts heaven pretty tritely, with us floating on clouds, having beautiful bedazzled wings and strumming harps. Listen, Heaven is a real place where real people in real bodies spend a real eternity. There are incredible things there. The Bible speaks about golden streets and pearly gates.  I am sure there are not words in any language to adequately describe how wonderful it is.  Imagine waking up one morning and finding your life has no stress or pressure, no pain, no loneliness, no broken marriages, no debt, no bills, no suffering.  Are you ready for a world like that?  When Jesus spoke about heaven, He used words like feasts, banquets, family, friends and closest fellowship. It is a place where we can enjoy the family of God forever! Most importantly, however, it is where we get to enjoy our Savior forever. When Jesus’ friends asked Him about heaven, to comfort and encourage them He said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”  I know I am going to be there, how about you?
