Jesus spoke to the people again and said, “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness. They will have the light of life.”

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples.

So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.

When they kept on asking him questions, he stood up and said to them, “If any of you has never sinned, he can be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.

Jesus stood up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then I don’t condemn you either,” Jesus told her. “Go now and stop sinning.”
