We must do the works of the one who sent me while it’s still day. Night is coming, when no one can work.

While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, was this man born blind because he sinned, or was it because his parents sinned?” Jesus answered, “This man didn’t sin, and his parents didn’t sin, either. He was born blind so that God’s power could be demonstrated through him.

Jesus said, “I’ve come into this world to judge it, so that people who are blind will become able to see and that people who can see will become blind.”
