What Jesus did at Cana in Galilee was the first of his signs showing his glory. Because of it, his disciples believed in him.

“Dear woman, what’s going on here?” Jesus responded. “My time hasn’t come yet.”

Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them right to the top. Then he told them, “Now take some out and bring it to the person in charge of the banquet.” So they did what he said.

Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up again in three days.”

Jesus made a whip out of ropes and chased everyone out of the temple courtyard with their sheep and cattle. He scattered the coins of the people who were exchanging money, and he flipped their tables over. He told those who were selling doves, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”
