Indoor Camping and Family Ties

Activity: Gather all the blankets in the house and make a giant fort in the living room. Let your kids sleep in the “tent” they made.

Brothers and sisters are pretty close. In other words, if someone starts picking on your brother or sister, you will stand up for them, right? Now we’re not talking about using violence but calmly letting others know that this is your brother or sister, and they can’t treat them poorly. What’s amazing is that the Bible tells us there is someone who sticks closer than a brother. Who is that? Jesus, of course. He is with us all the time, residing in our hearts and keeping us close to him.

Remember that family is made of memories! Memories are what draw you closer together as brothers and sisters and with your mom and me, your dad. What was your favorite memory from today, and how will that help you stay close to us all? If you could ask God to bless our family in one way, what would that be?
