INTRODUCTION

Prepare your heart for a six-week journey toward fearlessness! Jesus said, Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid (Mark 6:50). This isn't just a Bible devotion, these are tried and tested ways of living in the truth!

Our journey will include:

DAYS 1-2: Introduction

DAYS 3-44: Fearful to Fearless

1. This section is broken into weekly (seven days each) chapters, each week with a specific theme that will be headlined each day. Every sixth and seventh day will be a time of review and reflection on the theme and passages for the week.

2. Each day you will be asked to read a passage of the Bible in the WATER OF HIS WORD.

3. Then you will be led to apply and think through the passage in WALK ON TRUTH.

4. Each day will end with FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART, which is an opportunity to memorize and meditate on the week's focus Scripture passage. Read the following verses and keep them in your heart and in your mind throughout this study: 1 John 4:18; Isaiah 54:4; Isaiah 62:4-5; Isaiah 61:10. Begin each day with the Lord by asking Him to help you worship with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. (I recommend "In Christ Alone" by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty. It can be found on iTunes or YouTube.) I pray this time of solitude with God alone will be a special blessing to you. After a time of worship, enter into a prayer of praise and thanksgiving. Then confess your sin and need of forgiveness. Close your time of prayer by asking God to open your heart to receive the truth He desires to plant in you during these next six weeks. May God lay an entirely new foundation of faithfulness and fearlessness that will replace any fear and unbelief. Don't be afraid to ask Him to help you hear His voice, to help you see Him, and to give you the grace you need to follow in the steps He asks you to take. Be excited! The Lord is going to do a new thing! May your heart be filled to overflowing with the fullness of the Lord!
