30 Days for the Life You Prayed for by Edward VentersPrimjer

Support is key in the process of changing your life. Surrounding yourself with people that love you and care for you is essential. There is always someone who is willing to help you. I know there are cases where you might not have a family or did not grow up in a healthy environment. This is totally understandable, but as you grow towards Christ, He will gravitate the right people toward your life. It is ideal that you find someone who will help you grow in Christ and in life.
The writer of Ecclesiastes says that two are better than one because if one falls, the other is there to pick them up. When you feel like caving in and giving up, having someone to lean on can make all the difference.
God intended for us to have companions. He clearly stated this in Genesis. Adam had the world at his fingertips and even had animal friends. Even greater, he had God right there with him. So, there must have been something else that God or even the animals couldn’t offer him. You would think that if you literally walked with God, it would be enough, but Adam clearly wasn’t happy. Having a strong friend and companion can make the difference in your life. Eve was Adam’s friend and lover; she was to help him fulfill the assignment that God placed before him. Adam didn’t know what he needed. At that time, he was the only human that walked the earth that we know of, but God knew. God knew when the right time was, and He knew exactly what Adam needed to fulfill his destiny. God knew Jesus was to enter into the earth from the beginning. He knew His creation would need help.
He loved us so much that He had a provisional plan in place so that His so beloved creation would not perish. That’s how much He loves us. He created us knowing we’d sin, knowing we’d spit in His face, but yet He carried out His plan and gave Himself in human form so that we would have salvation because of His death and resurrection. By faith, we gained the ultimate companion, the Holy Spirit. He is our guide, our helper, and while you’re waiting on your physical companion, lean on Jesus. He will direct your paths and make them straight.
