God’s Glory
We sell ourselves on the need to “help God work things out.” We argue our need to make a change, add some excitement, or get something new going, because we’re empty. Our tastes just aren’t being satisfied where we are and with what we have. But the problem is deeper than an earthly “taste” can satisfy. Jesus calls you and me “children of the light” whom he longs to wean from dabbling in the darkness.
By welcoming His glory with our praise, the way is opened for God to plant the desires of His heart into ours. The fullness of God’s life in us penetrates every hollow, hungry place, bringing fulfillment, joy, peace, and supreme satisfaction to our lives.
