God’s holiness sets Him apart from all of His creatures—angelic, human, and animal. In the beauty of His holiness, He commits to make His worshipers holy, too. He forgives our sins, . . . He sanctifies us, He conforms us to the image of His only begotten Son.
We don’t become holy by matching up our strength to God’s. We match up our weakness to His strength and our failure to His holiness, so that our lives may reflect His righteousness and glory.
