Instead of only praying for what we want, we can focus our prayers on what He wants for us, such as having patience, being kind toward others, and concentrating our minds on God’s Word. Those are things God really and truly wants to help grow in our lives. When we pray for those things, it shows we care about what God wants to give us and the way He wants us to live.
Today, make a list of qualities you know God wants for your life. Then, ask Him to help you develop more in your life.
